It's basically Ainori Love Wagon but with people around your age. You'll probably love Twinkle Love or 怦然心动20岁. I identify with them, envy them, and enjoy living vicariously through them. Seeing how the housemates encourage and uplift each other in pursuing their passions, whether the attempts are a success or failure… it really resonates. Being lost together must be a lot better than being lost alone. Living with people in the same awkward, vulnerable situation-equipped with the skills and/or hunger to make something happen, but a little lost on exactly what, or how. So now when I watch the show, I think how awesome it’d be if every young adult could have a soft place like TH to land. College is usually considered the place where you transition into adulthood, but leaving that “bubble” and entering the “real world” can be rough. Losing the inherent sense of community and camraderie really sucks, actually. But it’s a feeling of loss I never expected (even though I only made a handful of friends). I think a lot of that has to do with the pandemic, obviously. ![]() I commuted from home, which made it hard to get involved, then COVID only intensified that feeling of isolation.įor me, life after college (the few months that I’ve lived of it) has been nothing like I thought it’d be. I graduated college recently, but never had the “normal” college experience with dorms, parties, roommates, Greek life, big friend groups, etc.
